From March 28th to 29th, Professor Li led all the members of the research group to Ma'anshan, Anhui Province for a spring outing. The theme of this activity was "Exploring the Ancient Poetic City and Climbing the Spring Mountain of Cuiluo", combining cultural exploration with natural mountain climbing. While experiencing the historical and cultural heritage of Jiangdong, the members relaxed their minds and bodies and strengthened their bonds in the midst of nature.
On March 28th, the research group first visited the Ma'anshan Museum, a national second-class museum, which houses treasures such as Six Dynasties celadon. They visited five major exhibition areas including "The Head of Wu and the Tail of Chu" and "The Echoes of the Six Dynasties", systematically experiencing the 5,000-year-old civilization of Ma'anshan. Particularly, the "Poetic City of Mountains and Waters" exhibition area, where over 600 poets including Li Bai left more than a thousand poems, left a deep impression on everyone, making them reluctant to leave.
On the morning of March 29th, the research group went to the Caishi Ji Scenic Area for mountain climbing. They passed by the Yanxi Pavilion, followed the riverside plank road to visit the Sanyuan Cave, and gazed at the surging Yangtze River from the railing. Then they visited the national key cultural relic protection unit, Taibai Tower, and the Zhexian Garden. Finally, they climbed to the top of the Santai Pavilion with great effort, enjoying the panoramic view of the vast Yangtze River. Everyone took photos to commemorate the moment.
The two-day spring outing ended happily. This trip was a dual immersion in culture and nature, as well as a vivid practice of team cohesion. The teachers and students encouraged each other during the mountain climbing, extending the spirit of scientific research collaboration to the mountains and waters. They all expressed that they would devote themselves to scientific research with greater enthusiasm in the future and strive for new heights.
