The results of the "GCL Energy Technology Cup" 6th Jiangsu Provincial University Student Social Practice and Science & Technology Competition on Energy Saving and Emission Reduction have recently been announced. Two student teams from Nanjing University of Aeronautics and Astronautics, supervised by Professor Li Xiuqiang and Professor Yue Chen, won the first prize in the undergraduate (science & technology) category and the third prize in the graduate (science & technology) category, respectively.
The undergraduate team won the first prize with their work entitled "Sweat-Induced Cooling, Enduring After Washing – A Sweat-Responsive Intelligent Cooling Garment for Summer". The team members are Jiawei Liu, Shaihao Miao, Zijun Wang, Yangxin Chen, and Yan Wang. The graduate team received the third prize for their work "One Garment for All Scenarios – A Sweat-Responsive Green Intelligent Thermoregulating Garment", with team members Menglu Duan, Jiaqi Chu, Fuyuan Cao, Guijun Ma, Haojie Xu, and Xiaofeng Jiang.
Both works focus on sweat-responsive intelligent cooling/thermoregulating garments, emphasizing personal thermal management and green energy efficiency. They reflect the group's sustained strengths and educational achievements in smart thermo-functional materials and low-carbon technologies.
